That’s very nice. There is such a glow of green that the shadows “appear” to have color.

There was a beautifully-lit evening sky last week which I tried to capture in this image.

    1/125 sec at f/22, ISO 800, 45.5 mm on a Fujifilm XF16-55mm F2.8 lens

No crop Graduated filter for slight adjustment to contrast and exposure on left

Beautiful example of light at its best – with colour and depth.

    7 Essentials – Lesson #1 Understabding Light

Birch trees with hard afternoon sidelight – I love the way the light comes through the peeling bark.

Japanese Maple – dappled morning light after rainfall – The red is so strong in these conditions.

Lesson 1 Understanding the qualities of light. I was out in the afternoon sun and notices the shadows and the colors the light was casting.

Really good spot. That is the kind of lighting that moves one.

Two types of light here – the natural light of the sunset, and the fluorescent lights of the garage.
